  Tiny place, but very nice ambiance. I had an excellent steak and the wine by the glass offerings were solid if not spectacular. I was alone and sat at the bar, so I can't say much about the service other than that mine was quite good. They knew the wines well and were able to discuss with me at length. THe Tempranillo they were serving was first rate!

  The food was pretty good, but overall it wasn't what I was expecting based on their website and what I'd heard via word of mouth. It's oddly placed, in a building tucked away behind another restaurant, that's mostly full of offices. The restaurant itself isn't obvious from the doorway so one has to wander down a hall to find it. It's very small, probably max of six tables, pretty close together and the two person tables are the kind of size that cause your plates to touch, and you are sitting within easy arms reach of the other customers seated next to you.
  
  The food saved it as it was pretty well done, but I'm not sure it lived up to expectation based on the price. The service was ok, but for our anniversary we'd planned to splurge and expected it to feel like a real treat rather than an average somewhat cramped restaurant. So I'd say worth trying if you just happen to be downtown and want to try someplace new, but not worth it if you're looking for something exceptionally different.
